2019a Castellabate Christmas Markets are coming: music, art, good food and fun guaranteed!
From 6 to 8 and from 13 to 15 December 2019 in the medieval village of castellabate in the province of Salerno, the eighth edition of Christmas markets.
The historic center of Castellebate is therefore prepared to welcome all guests, both adults and children, to wrap them in one magical and warm Christmas atmosphere, between the magical lights and melodies of the popular tradition.
The path
The route starts from Perrotti Square, to the side of the Castello dell'Abate, and continues between the stairs leading to the Papal Basilica, passing under the bell tower and continuing straight ahead to the Piazzetta 10 Ottobre, and then up again towards the Castle.
Christmas markets and events
Several wooden houses will be set up where you can find and taste the gastronomic specialties of the Cilento Christmas tradition like donuts, the exquisite Cilento pizza cooked in wood and the Scauratieddi. In addition, local handicrafts will also be exhibited with paintings and ceramics, embroidery and knitwear, jewelery and costume jewelery, bags, baskets and much more.
There will also be fun for the little ones with it puppet show by Rosario Mercurio, the magic Santa's House and much more.
During the days of the Christmas market there will also be guided tours of the Medieval Village to the Papal Basilica and its Nativity, the Museum of Sacred Art and the Nativity Scene Exhibition and the Medieval Castle.
