New appointment in Caposele for the 2019 Christmas markets: everything is ready for the lighting of the tallest tree in Europe!
Everything is ready to Caposele, to Avellino, to welcome the eighth edition of Christmas markets 2019. Indeed Saturday November 30, 2019 the ceremony for the lighting of the lights will be held ontallest Christmas tree in Europe.
With its 33 meters high, the beautiful and evocative Greek tree located in the urban center, is classified as the tallest tree, but also like that more significant, enclosing in itself a tangle of emotions: the memory for those who are no longer there, the hope, force , will of those who fight, for those who fight every day against evils that are still devastating today. All proceeds from activities under the tree will be given in beneficence, in support of cancer research and prevention.
There will be over 100 stand di small craftsmanship but also wine and food where guests can take advantage to taste the "Matasse", the macaroons, the Mnestra and pizza, "r patan speruculat", the polenta, the "carn cu r paparol", oven products, truffles, cheeses and sausages, chestnuts, new oil and much more.
Guests can learn from local housewives the art of making handmade pasta and the weave that characterizes wicker. Also on the program a lot of music with various musical groups, dance performances, and many activities for children.
