Il San Pietro a Majella Conservatory of Naples on 21 June 2020 participates in the new edition of Music Festival, event organized by Mibac, with a suggestive online concert.

The concert at the San Pietro a Majella Conservatory

The concert that will take place on June 21 2020 at 18:00 will be a tribute to the famous Italian composer Saverio Mercadante on the 150th anniversary of his death.

In fact, for this occasion the pianist Frank Walls he will perform in the beautiful Scarlatti Room of the Conservatory playing the the ancient and precious Mercadante tail instrument.

There will be three pieces that will be performed: the transcriptions of the cavatina "Bella, adorata, incognita" by Viscardo in The Oath, of the symphony from the opera The two Figaro and Tarantella taken from the cantata The auspicious dance performed on the occasion of wedding between Francesco II and Maria Sofia of Bavaria in 1859.
