Concerts of the Chamber Orchestra at the Royal Palace of Caserta

On the occasion of the European Music Festival 2020 live concert in the most beautiful places in Naples such as the archaeological park of Herculaneum and Portici!

Sunday June 21 2020 to celebrate the new edition of European Music Festival, will be sent from hours 10:00, the streaming concert of students of the musical and choreutic high schools of the city of Naples and of the province.

In particular, you can follow the concert, which will last approximately an hour and a half, on the social channels of Metronapoli, the institutional magazine of the City of Naples, then on the Youtube channel and Facebook.

The concert in which they will participate well 1400 boys in solo performances, in compliance with the anti Covid-19 rules, will be broadcast from some of the most places beautiful and suggestive of Naples.

From one of the halls of the MAV, Virtual Archaeological Museum of Ercolano, will be sent the performance with the harp which exactly reproduces the fresco, found precisely in the excavations of Herculaneum, of the harp player e The anthem of the Neapolitan republic of Cimarosa played by an orchestra of pianos. And then one more pair of dancers will dance in the cruciform swimming pool of the Scavi on the notes of a solo flute.

Instead in the Halls of the beautiful Palace of Portici a piece by Sylvius Leopold Weiss from the 700th century will be broadcast and then 75 guitars and mandolins from the pick orchestra will play 'O Sole Mio.

The program will include a choral performance lasting about 4 minutes for each of the eleven high schools participants, one for each of the 4 orchestras of the Metropolitan City, picks, woodwinds, percussion and symphony, plus eleven solo performances (one per institute) performed in the Excavations, in the Reggia and at the Mav.
