This year Naples the Afrakà Rock Festival, the historic festival dedicated to rock music organized by the leader of Osanna, dedicates an evening to Micheal Jackson
Back to Naples theAfrakà Rock Festival, one of the most important events on rock music in the city. As usual, organized by the leader of the historic Neapolitan prog rock band Hosanna, Lino Vairetti, the event will take place this year at the Trianon Theater.
Now in its XX Edition, it will have among its guests Italian artists, and not very influential in international rock music. In the evenings of the 28 and 29 March, the special guests will be Alan Sorrenti, Gianni Leone and Aldo Tagliapietra with Alex Carpani Band.
Afrakà Rock Festival has always been characterized by being a space dedicated to rock and everything that goes beyond its borders, such as the prog, jazz, the blues and ethno. Born in Afragola, the event has seen various locations over the years and has given, and continue to give, space to emerging talents and young.
This year, on March 29th, there will be a special evening entirely dedicated to the king of pop, Michael Jackson. In fact, his historic guitarist, Jennifer Batten, will be a guest of the Afrakà Festival with i King of Pop, The Michael Jackson tribute band, to remember the artist who passed away a few years ago and relive the atmosphere of his greatest successes.
The band is made up of 11 elements that enrich the show with numerous special effects. Their frontman, Vittorio Masullo, is currently recognized by MTV as the “Best impersonator in Italy”By Michael Jackson. Also, Jeniffer Batten is famous for her perfect execution of the Beat It solo, which is why MJackson himself hired her in the audition.
