Eighteenth-century Carnival in Naples: for the 2020 Carnival, dinner, music, historical clothes and international performers are scheduled!

Next will be held February 24 2020 al Posillipo theater in Naples the fourth edition of "Eighteenth-century Neapolitan Carnival". 

The evening will be divided into two moments: a eighteenth-century dinner starting at 19 and on Eighteenth century Grand Ball at 23 pm, inside the location that will be completely rebuilt with settings of the time, live shows, international performers and with digital installations.

The theme of Carnival

As every year a theme will be chosen, for this 2020 the theme will be “Plumed 700”, the Eighteenth century Plumed. Everyone will therefore have to dress according to the chosen theme and with an eighteenth-century dress. Alternatively men can wear a tuxedo and mask, women instead a long evening dress and mask.

The Carnival Program

19 hours: 00 

  • Eighteenth-century dinner reserved for 300 guests

Guests will be greeted by butlers and expected in the lounge for the welcome drink based on Spumante Valdo origin Valdobbiadene.

The evening will continue with a succession of exciting performance curated by national and international artists.

Guests will enjoy a selection of wines from Campania and savor the eighteenth-century dishes studied and elaborated specifically for the occasion by a team of Neapolitan chefs.

23 hours: 00

  • Eighteenth century Grand Ball

During the unfolding of the event, there will be an artistic jury that will evaluate among the guests, the most beautiful historical clothes. Prizes are up for grabs.

The ceremony will continue in a contemporary key with the entry into the console of the deejays and the start of the picturesque dances in the large hall. The event is open to a limited number of guests, so it will be need to book.
