Throughout the summer of 2017 a traffic device will be active at the Gaiola Descent in Naples with exceptions for some vehicles.
The Municipality of Naples, for thesummer 2017, has placed a new one traffic device for the Discesa della Gaiola area, active from the 10 June to the 19 September.
The area of the gaiola it is very popular in the summer season because citizens and tourists love to dive into its beautiful waters, for this reason a special device was necessary to avoid invading the area by cars and motorbikes that can only pollute. A dedicated one will also be set up passage controlled by the police.
The device will be valid in via Discesa Gaiola, in the section between Via Tito Lucrezio Caro not communicating. We remember that it is also activates a ZTL in Marechiaro.
Traffic device for the Descent of the Gaiola
The device features the prohibition of transit in via Discesa Gaiola from 7.00 to 19.00 via a guarded block in Via Tito Lucrezio Caro right at the entrance to Via Discesa Gaiola.
The exceptions to the traffic device
Notwithstanding the prohibition, transit to:
- car of the police forces, emergency and public service providers, to allow them to carry out their activities
- vehicles of residents identifiable from the vehicle registration document or from an identification document
- cars that head to the parking areas outside the roadway, in possession of a precise attestation signed by the owner and endorsed by the Department of Mobility or the Urban Safety Unit of the I Municipality
- means for the transport of goods direct to the activities within the area, which can access and stop from 8,00 to 10,00 and from 14,00 to 16,00, only for the time useful for loading and unloading
- vehicles for the transport of people with limited or impeded motor skills in possession of the mark for the ascent and descent of the disabled person
- taxi
- vehicles serving the Protected Marine Area of Gaiola with authorizations endorsed by CSI Gaiola and by the Urban Security Unit of the Municipality
