The 2019 International Short Film Festival will be held in November and will bring Naples to the heart of the cinematic avant-garde
The International Short Film Festival 2019, with the classic title of Agreements and disagreements, will be held from 5 to 9 November al Pan Museum. The event will consist of a series of free screenings and conferences to which all those who intend to find out which direction the seventh art is moving are invited.
The screenings of the competing films will be held mainly by 17: 00 to 19: 30 in the seat of the Palazzo delle Arti in Naples. The review proposes eighty-six short films who will compete within four competitions and will be included in non-competitive contexts such as previews and retrospectives.
They will also be organized workshop by the Film Commission of the Campania Region: the goal is to paint a detailed and exhaustive picture of the new film trends.
The films selected for this edition will have a very topical theme as their fil rouge, on which art is called upon to provide new perspectives for reflection: the environment and environmental sustainability of the main human activities, the serious problem of migrations.
The screenings will be divided between the PAN headquarters in Via Dei Mille 60 and the Center for Contemporary Art in Via Vergini 1. Visitors are free to access until the seats in the hall are exhausted.
