Nose up with the 2016 International Hot Air Balloon Rally in Fragneto Monforte: also lots of music, exhibitions and shows!
Fragneto Monforte, a town in the Benevento area, is preparing as every year to welcome the International Meeting of Hot Air Balloons. The thirtieth edition of the event will be held 14 from October to 16 2016.
From morning until sunset, in the municipal field, you can witness the take-off and the flight of the colorful giant balloons driven by the gas. The whole country will be involved, with the roads that they will do from open-air museum. In the Council Chamber there will be interesting conferences, while street artists and folk groups will perform with theirs itinerant shows.
On Saturday evening you can also admire the traditional bell tower fire. In addition, a camper area has been set up where it is possible to stop for a day or for the entire duration of the event.
There will also be a special competition for win two balloon flights.
Competition
In order to win two balloon flights, you will need to purchase a ticket that costs 1 euro in one of the infopoints that display the poster on the site and attend theextraction which will be done on the airfield on October 16 at 17.00. Two tickets will be drawn which will entitle you to one flight each. In case of unfavorable weather, flights will be made on the first Sunday after contacting the association at info@volareinmongolfiera.it.

I flights will take place every day on the following days and times
- Friday 14 October from 7.15 to 7.45 and from 17.00 to 18.00.
- Saturday 15 October from 7.15 to 7.45 and from 17.00 to 18.00.
