New ideas for the resumption of the San Carlo Theater in Naples: concert in Piazza Plebiscito with Riccardo Muti!

even the San Carlo Theater of Naples did not remain immune to the consequences caused by the health emergency from Coronavirus, which therefore had to close its doors and suspend all the ballets and operas that were scheduled during these months.

However the artists and the Superintendent of the San Carlo Theater in Naples, Stephane Lissner, they did not lose heart and indeed the latter proposed new ones ideas for the reopening of the theater, which will hopefully be as soon as possible.

Concert in Piazza Plebiscito

Stéphane Lissner, director of the beautiful San Carlo Theater in Naples, from his home in France exposed his idea of an open reopening with a concert, in one of the most beautiful squares in Naples, that is Piazza Plebiscito and with an exceptional conductor: Riccardo Muti.

Lissner then specified that he wanted to dedicate the real reopening of the Theater, when possible, to the health workers who played a really fundamental role in this period and who together with their families will be the first spectators to be welcomed.

There is no shortage of ideas as regards i details to welcome the public, such as the creation of masks decorated with notes and verses of works.

The San Carlo Theater in the districts of Naples

Another interesting novelty is to bring the music of the San Carlo Theater into the suburbs and neighborhoods of Naples. In fact, through the installation of large screens, the citizens of the Forcella, Scampia and San Giovanni districts will be able to connect with the Theater and follow the various works.
