Theatrical visit with historical reconstruction and tastings with A night at the Museum of the Treasure of San Gennaro in Naples!
The 13 May 2017 the cultural association Nartea will organize a theatrical visit entitled Januaria - A Night at the San Gennaro Museum.
Visitors will be accompanied by the guide and actors Valeria Frallicciardi and Andrea Fiorillo, who will give voice to anecdotes and mysteries that thicken the life of our patron, proposing historical reconstructions and imaginative legends.
The visit is titled Januaria, from the Latin Ianuarius, derived in turn from Ianus (Janus), the two-faced god, in honor of the surname of the saint, later transformed into the Neapolitan name Januario.
One of his descendants, Eusebia Januario, will lead the public to the discovery of the Treasury, made up of precious objects and jewels given to the saint as an ex voto or to invoke a grace.
Later he will speak Giuseppe Navarra, called the king of Poggioreale, who brought the treasure back to Naples after it was kept in the Vatican during the war. At the end of the show will be offered the tasting of Campania wine.
