For summer 2019, the National Archaeological Museum of Naples offers evening admissions at 2 euros on Thursdays with the Myths of Music program, a program of concerts from Viennese music to the Rome of the Popes.

Il National Archaeological Museum of Naples , for the summer of 2019, proposes again the successful initiative which provides evening admission to 2 euros every Thursday, from 6 June until 1 August.

The initiative includes the third edition of Miti di Musica from, from Sybilla to the Virgin, Musical baroque, Rome of the Popes and the last event in which music will meet silent cinema.

Music Myths is now one of the most loved events of the Neapolitan scene because it manages to bring culture lovers towards certain cultural routes. This year the leitmotif of this important event is, as one can easily guess from the name, the myth.

It is interesting to keep in mind that particular event is taken care of by the MANN that manages to bring its experience in this sector bringing various very different musical styles but at the same time they manage to create a sort of connection thanks to the skill of the Mitja Quartet who will perform the Myths of Viennese Music from Mozart to Haydn without forgetting Beethoven.

It must therefore be remembered that during the eighteenth century the Viennese capital became the pole of world music, so much so that it was concluded that the real language of music in that time was the Viennese dialect. The National Archaeological Museum of Naples has much more to offer these days.

The program includes not only the Viennese myths but also historical routes of great importance such as the one that you will have the June 13 when the Choir Mysterium Vocis, under the guidance of Rosario Todaro, will retrace five hundred years of musical history following a path that from Sybilla to the Virgin where paganism is used to introduce the arrival of Catholicism.

The 20 July the Rotary Youth Chamber Orchestra will go over the Musical baroque with an exceptional artist like Luca Signorini who will use two important artists of the caliber of Alessandro Di Giacomo and Riccardo Zamuner.

The 27 June will be the time to show the work of historical musical investigation carried out by ScarlattiLab Barocco about the music in the Myth of Rome of the seventeenth century. It will be Alessandro Mellari, an artist of great prestige, who will translate this historical study into music.

The 04 July will be on Celluloid myth where there will be the sound of the Fantasia 'and Surdate by Elvira Notari, one of the most important films of Neapolitan silent cinema, will be the event that will close the Neapolitan chermesse on July 4 and on the park there will be Dolores Melodia e Michele Signore created in collaboration with the Cineteca di Bologna.

Finally it is important to remember that included in the ticket there is not only the show of the evening but it is also included the entrance to a series of important exhibitions such as Canova and the ancient, Corto Maltese. An extraordinary journey andArt knows how to swim of the famous street artist Bulb. The ticket is valid until 23 so there is time to enrich your culture.
