The appointments with Archeotreno Campania start again: aboard the extraordinary vintage train to reach Herculaneum, Pompeii, Paestum and other places!
Also for this year the appointments with ArcheoTrain Campania, the special vintage Trenitalia train that will take you from the Napoli Centrale station to the wonderful archaeological sites of Pompeii and Paestum. Together with ArcheoTreno it also starts again the Irpinia Express for a trip to the most important vineyards in the area.
ArcheoTrain
Thanks to the new edition of ArcheoTreno you will have the opportunity to travel aboard a beautiful historical train with the Centoporte or the carriages of the 30s and the Corbellini, the carriages of the 50s, which will be pulled by an electric locomotive from the 60s.
From Napoli Centrale station, with a short stop at Pietrarsa, you can reach various locations including Pompeii, Herculaneum, Paestum and Velia and then again Sapri and Salerno.

Benefits with the MANN
Here are the concessions thanks to an agreement valid for 2020:
- By presenting the MANN ticket at the time of purchase you will be entitled to the following reduction to travel with the Archeotreno: reduced ticket Adult € 10 - Child (up to 12 years) € 5;
- By presenting the open MANN at the time of purchase for the ArcheoTreno ticket you will be entitled to a special 2 × 1 ticket to travel on board the historic train
- Visitors who present the Archeotreno ticket at the MANN ticket office will be entitled to purchase a reduced ticket at a cost of € 9.
- The MANN ticket or, vice versa, the Archeotreno ticket purchased in the 30 days prior to the performance of the historic train will be recognized as valid for the purchase of the reduced ticket. Discounted tickets can only be purchased on board the train
Ticket prices of the ArcheoTreno
The ticket to travel on the Archeotreno will include the outward and return journey:
- Adult, round trip 20,00 euros
- Children between 4 and 12 years old, return ticket 10,00 euros
- Children between 0 and 4 years: free. They must be accompanied by a paying adult and without a seat guarantee
We remind you that the ArcheoTreno ticket is not valid on regional trains.
