Biagio Izzo and Peppe Barra on stage at the Augusteo Theater in "Come un Cenerentolo", a comic and original reinterpretation of the famous fairy tale
Biagio Izzo, one of the most beloved and talented Neapolitan comedians returns to the scene with a new fun show that will see the participation of Peppe Barra.
Like a Cinderella it is a reinterpretation in a modern key, and to the masculine, of the famous fairy tale Cinderella, and that recalls the film a little bit Cinderella played in 1960 by the legendary Jerry Lewis. Indeed, in this hilarious comedy, both the protagonist, Biagio Izzo, both the stepmother, masterfully interpreted by Peppe Barra, both the fairy, which here becomes "Fate".
Set in a charming seaside resort, the comedy starring Biagio, adopted son of the Baron's family, owners of a hotel, and took their surname, but certainly only that. In fact, there are too many social differences between the rough and clumsy Biagio and the sophisticated Barone family and his presence is not welcome, having already been adopted in adulthood. Despite this, prerogatives equal to those of the other children are reserved for him, managing to enter the hereditary succession too. In short, a rough man of humble origins he suddenly finds himself rich and wealthy. But money is not enough, and only the help of a "Fate" can transform Biagio into a perfect gentleman.
