In November the new appointment with Bidonville which will be held, as always, at the Mostra d'Oltremare in Naples

Like every year the usual appointment is repeated Mostra d'Oltremare of Naples: the barter and second-hand fair. shantytown encourages you, once again, to empty cellars and garages for sell and barter objects of every age! Not just sellers, but of course buyers who want to take home something vintage or second-hand, spending an affordable amount.

The event is open to all citizens, both people who want to sell / trade their used things and to collectors and artisans who wish to show their works. The fair it is divided into four thematic areas: Handicraft, Modern Antiques, Collectibles, Antiques for a total of about 2000 exhibitors.

Why ever buy some used stuff? We take up the reasons drawn up by shantytown that explain why you give in to the temptations of the used one:

Because it is good for the environment: reusing means defusing the mechanism of compulsive buying and the waste of raw materials and energy connected to it. Furthermore, recovering means reducing the frequency of spills in landfills and the consequent need for disposal often through incinerators.

To find the unobtainable: in the fairs and flea markets, you can find forgotten objects, with bizarre shapes and uses, or made with unusual but still very current materials.

To save money: attending the reuse corners is good for your pocket because it transforms the useless into the useful and allows you to do good deals, with quality objects at a small price.
