2019 Bluefish in Campania: the free fish tastings are back

At the end of November Bluefish 2019 will bring fresh fish to many places in Campania: free tastings and environmental sustainability

Bluefish 2019 stems from the need to make people known the great quality of the blue fish: in all the provinces of Campania, from 27 to 28 November you can taste for free dishes based on scales prepared by chefs specialized in fish dishes.

Goals of the Bluefish 2019

The aim of the Bluefish initiative is to spread the Campania gastronomic culture linked to the so-called poor fish or blue fish. 

During the various events they will be distributed to the public dressmaker's meters to measure the size of the fish before buying it and visitors will be taught what size each fish must reach before being sold legally. 

It will also be taught a recognize fresh and quality fish to make your purchases in full awareness.

All explanations and demonstrations will be entrusted to the experts of thePunta Campanella Marine Protected Area and to the representatives of the association Slow Food for the Campania region.

Attention to the environment

Bluefish will also distribute, free of charge, too aluminum water bottles to make consumers aware of the need to reduce plastic consumption to limit the pollution of the seas.
