Campania by night 2019 is a review of events and night visits for a journey to discover Paestum, Ischia, Ercolano, Carditello and Marano.
New appointment with Campania by night for the 2019 edition, the program of extraordinary evening openings in the cultural places of Campania.
There are five sites that will join this interesting and fascinating initiative, namely: Paestum with visits and observation to the stars, Herculaneum with evening visits, Ischia, Marano and Carditello. During these events the guests will be able to appreciate the beauties of our Region, go to the discovery of archaeological sites and take part in night walks and guided tours.
The initiative that has been repeated for some years has the objective of revaluation of cultural heritage of our land, we therefore advise you not to miss this beautiful opportunity.
Campania program by night 2019
Paestum
11 July-8 September 2019
Guided tours on the themes of myth and constellations, deepening each week, from Thursday to Sunday, a different myth linked to the magical site of Paestum. During the visit it will be possible to observe the celestial vault at the telescope and with the astrolabe identify the characters and creatures of mythology in the modern 88 constellations. The path will be enriched by a musical show. More information in our dedicated article.
Herculaneum
19 July-20 September 2019
Every Friday evening guided night tours to the Archaeological Park of Herculaneum with videomapping projection of images of the frescoes in the National Archaeological Museum of Naples. Along the way, thanks to the theatrical performance of the Tableaux Vivants, of the Teatri 35 company, the scenes in the frescoes will come to life under the eyes of the visitors. Ischia

The Novecento exhibition in Ischia. One hundred shots for a hundred years comes from a research taken from the photographic archive of the Valentino emeroteca, which has more than 12.000 photographs in which the historical research of the images that tell the twentieth century and the events that characterized the recent history of the Island of Ischia are based . The exhibition can be visited from Tuesday to Sunday from 09: 00 to 18: 30. Free entry.
Marano
July 20-21 2019
The route will start from the Ciaurro municipal villa - a Roman-era mausoleum dating back, probably, to the I-II century AD -, and will have as stops the caves of San Castrese and the homonymous church dedicated to the patron saint of the city. Later, we will return to the Villa del Ciaurro, with dedicated shuttles, for a final moment in which they will be offered small tastings based on local products and a musical accompaniment by the Zooming on the zoo group. Carditello

A special evening guided tour of the Real Sito di Carditello Foundation, a Bourbon hunting and breeding residence for royal horses, followed by a concert by I Cantori di Posillipo.
