Circumvesuviana Naples-Sorrento: the call service for the disabled starts

Circumvesuviana

The new on-call service for travelers with disabilities on the Naples-Sorrento line of the Circumvesuviana is starting today!

It comes from an agreement between Eav and the Bourelly group, the brand new experimental service of transportation on call for all travelers with motor disabilities on the line Naples-Sorrento of the Circumvesuviana.

It is a real turning point that will allow all people with disabilities to travel. We remember that because of the architectural barriers present in many stations, for disabled people it is really very complicated, if not impossible, to move.

On-call service: this is how it works

This new service, which was sanctioned thanks to the collaboration between the EAV and the Bourelly group, will allow us to manage the requests of all travelers with motor disabilities. In fact, once the reservation is made, travelers can be transferred from an inaccessible station to the nearest accessible station, always on the Naples-Sorrento line.

Travelers will be accompanied thanks to a special vehicle equipped with lift and station dedicated to the transport of passengers in wheelchairs. Obviously the traveler must be equipped with the travel document Single Consortium / EAV, and can only be accompanied by one person.

Il service runs daily from 06:00 to 22:00 and to book you can call the toll-free number 800814853 active 24/XNUMX both on weekdays and holidays, or you can use the platform Saluber. For more information visit Eav official website.
