Back "Stipa ca truova", the vintage and artistic handicraft market in Vomero, on the occasion of the third edition of Vomero Notte 3.0

Among the initiatives organized for the third edition of Vomero Night 3.0, to be held from Saturday 11 October to Sunday night 12 October 2014, will come back Stipa ca truova, the vintage and artistic craft market in Vomero.

At Lo Spicchio Park of Via Case Puntellate, you can browse from 15:00 pm on 11 October to 3 am on Sunday 12 October, among the stands of the market, including strictly vintage accessories and clothing and original products of artistic craftsmanship.

In addition, an exhibition of emerging Neapolitan artists will also be held within the market, recalling the myth of Father Rocco, he who had the initiative to illuminate the Neapolitan streets to prevent bandits from attacking travelers during the night. In fact, despite the presence of oil lamps along the streets of the city, the bad guys easily removed them. Father Rocco then resorted to a shrewd gesture, relying on the religious sentiment of the people: he invited the Neapolitans to place on the buildings the sacred images that they had most in their hearts and illuminate them by lighting a candle, at nightfall, taking care that it did not go out during the night.

During the evening, from 20.00, always inside the market in the park, there will be the live music by Andrea D'Alessio, former X Factor finalist.
