Good Friday procession, characteristic floats and animation for Easter and Easter Monday XIIIUM in Procida.
On the occasion of Easter there will be some religious and folk processions on the island of Procida starting with the procession on Holy Thursday.
The night between Thursday and Friday is the vigil to Christ and in the evening seven will start the procession. Instead, during the morning of the Good Friday will be held the traditional procession for which the young islanders prepare the "Mysteries", characteristic wagons made of papier-mache, plastic, polystyrene and poor materials, which represent scenes from the Bible kept secret until the end.
Subsequently, the girls with flowers and children dressed in black will accompany a statue of the Madonna in mourning and, finally, the statue of the "Dead Christ", a work by Carmine Lantricene, which concludes the event.
The big news this year will be a smartphone app thanks to which, pointing the camera of your mobile phone that will read the QR applied to the individual allegorical floats, you can have the description of the Mystery.

- 7.30 - Good Friday procession through the streets of the island
- 20.00 pm - Solemn Via Crucis from the Abbey of S. Michele to the Congrega dei Turchini
