At the San Carlo Theater in Naples the exhibition Fairy tales at the Museum: a fantastic fairytale-themed event dedicated to younger guests!

The beautiful Memus, the Museum and Historical Archive of the San Carlo Theater in Naples, will host a fantastic exhibition for adults and children for about a year to discover the magical world of theater.

The exhibition entitled Fairy tales at the museum edited by Giusi Giustino, Director of the Tailoring of the San Carlo Theater, will be open from January 4th 2020 to December 23rd 2020 and will be entirely dedicated to the deep connection between fairy tales and music.

All the great works and the fantastic and magical characters that over the years have animated the stage of the beautiful Teatro San Carlo will come to life at Memus, thanks to the exhibition of their costumes, sketches, sketches and props. 

A truly magical exhibition that through the presence of these objects will make you live a time travel discovering the ancient and stainless link between fairy tale and music, which has always inspired man in every field.

In the exhibition you will also find a section Contemporary with the performances staged for the first time in recent years by the San Carlo Theater Ballet School on music by Gaetano Panariello as “Peter Pan”, “Snow White's Tale”, “Pinocchio”, Il Guarracino.

Hours: Monday to Saturday from 9.30 to 18.30 (last entry at 18) - Sunday from 9.30 to 13.30 (last entrance at 13)

Price: full 6 euros, reduced 5 euros
