In Chianche, in the province of Avellino, there is the Sagra del Cicatiello and the Greco di Tufo 2018 with many typical products, music and crafts!
It now reaches the 33th edition la Sagra del Cicatiello and Greco di Tufo in Chianche, a small village in the Avellino area. The appointment is on 3, 4 and 5 August 2018 with three days of fun and good food. In addition to typical Irpinia pasta and the famous wine of the region, do not miss the opportunity to taste other traditional specialties, to walk among the handicraft booth and to listen to popular music.
Among the dishes proposed cicatielli with sauce, country chop and hanged caciocavallo, accompanied by sweets and dal Greco di Tufo DOCG of the renowned local cellars. On the latter, on Saturdays and Sundays, an exhibition of artistic craftsmanship will also be set up. For music lovers will be on the program performances by folk groups.
The cicatielli are born in the peasant cuisine and they owe their name to the way in which the pasta is worked, “blinding it” with vigorous strokes given with the index and middle fingers.
