The festival of ancient flavors 2019 in Gioia Sannitica, in the province of Caserta: scheduled tasting of traditional dishes, wine, beer and liqueurs!
A new and fantastic date is back with the Festival of ancient flavors which will take place from 12 at the 18 August 2019 at Gioia Sannitica, a small town in the province of Caserta.
The event now in its twenty-second edition and organized by Pro Loco Gioiese is one of the most important events in the province of Caserta and aims to make known and enjoy the best dishes of the local tradition.
In fact, during the seven days guests can taste delicious first courses such as pappardelle, tagliatelle, scialatielli and fusilli "with porcini mushrooms", gnocchi with mutton sauce, tagliolini with beans and pork rind, tagliatelle all'ortolana, spaghetti alla chitarra sausage and porcini mushrooms, tagliatelle with provola cheese and aubergines.
And then sauté, tripe, pork with peppers, bruschetta with tomatoes and porcini mushrooms, roasted eggplant, all seasoned with the award-winning oil from the hills of Gioia and accompanied by excellent local wines and liqueurs.
