We have long talked about it festivals in Naples and its province, but today we intend to broaden our horizons to an excellence from Salerno. It will be held in Auletta (SA) from the 3 to the 5 May 2013 the fourth Feast of white artichoke with a combined market exhibition, for the promotion of typical products of the local area.
The peasant culture is at home in those areas, together with the agricultural production of this vegetable, characteristic because it has no thorns, round and with large inflorescences, with a color tending to silver.
The organoleptic qualities of the white artichoke are renowned, along with that of his sweet taste, which make it palatable even raw, perhaps enjoyed with a drop ofextra virgin olive oil of local olive, the PDO of the hills of Salerno.
