excavations of Herculaneum

The initiative returns with free Wednesdays to access the Herculaneum excavations, an unmissable and accessible event for everyone.

Il Ercolano Archaeological Park back to open to the public for free thanks to the initiative that provides for the Wednesday free, which connect to the campaign of Mibact dall'hashtag #iovadoalmuseo.

The appointment already started by the 30 October, has led the way to others four future cultural days which will have as given on 6, 13, 20 and 27 November 2019.

During these days you can therefore visit the Archaeological excavations of the site starting by 13: 00, immersing yourself in all the beauty that this timeless place has to offer.

It is a very smart project, useful to to stimulate interest in culture in general, too often snubbed or poorly understood.

Furthermore it is also necessary to admit that unfortunately the price of art for some people it is perceived as a real luxury that you can't afford.

For example, for a family of 4 or 5 people, visiting a paid park or museum becomes too expensive. For this reason, therefore, making such a service available to everyone is a brilliant idea and indeed has already enjoyed some success in the past, which surely will not fail to be repeated once again.
