The swallow it is nothing more than an opera in three acts by the Italian composer Giacomo Puccini on a libretto by Giuseppe Adami, which will be proposed by the incredible orchestra of the Neapolitan Theater. The protagonist Magda will be played by Ailyn Perez, for the first time at San Carlo, while the role of Ruggero it will be entrusted to the American tenor Michael Fabiano.

The swallow was staged at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples only on three occasions, namely in 1918, in 1958 and later in 1988. In fact, it has only recently been rediscovered, becoming today one of the most beautiful compositions by Giacomo Puccini.
