Free opening of the Library of Girolamini for the European 2016 Heritage Days in Naples!
The 24 and 25 September 2016 weekend will be there European Heritage Days with special evening openings of museums in Naples and the Library of Girolamini will be open for free.
A rare opportunity to visit the splendid sara of the structure thanks to the authorization granted by the Deputy Prosecutor of the Republic Vincenzo Piscitelli.
The Library will be open to visitors from 9.00 am to 16.30 pm, while the entire Girolamini complex will be opened from 9.00 to 14.00 and from 20.00 to 23.00. No reservation is required.
Unfortunately, as we know, the Library is generally closed due to the unpleasant legal events that have involved it in recent years, due to the theft of many of the precious books kept inside, but the staff is working hard for its reset. In fact, the results can be admired this weekend.
