Metro line 2 of Naples closed in the stretch between Campi Flegrei and San Giovanni Barra on 16 and 17 May 2020!
Due to the maintenance work, Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 May 2020, subway line 2 of Naples will remain closed in the stretch that includes Naples Campi Flegrei and Naples San Giovanni Barra.
The suspension of the section was indispensable to allow for complete some replacement interventions of the second pedestrian walkway in the Naples station stop Piazza Amedeo.
Changes to circulation
So in the next weekend due to the closure of some sections lines will undergo changes, here's what:
- All trains from and to Salerno - Castellammare di Stabia - Torre Annunziata Centrale originate and end of the journey to Naples S. Giovanni Barra
- All trains to and from Pozzuoli have their origin and end in Naples Campi Flegrei
- Trains to and from Caserta-Napoli Campi Flegrei originate and end of the journey to Napoli Centrale
Shuttle Service
To minimize the inconvenience caused by the suspension of the service, a shuttle bus service between Napoli San Giovanni Barra and Napoli Centrale. The shuttle has one frequency of about 15 minutes and will make the following stops:
- Napoli Centrale: External square of ANM Terminal Bus station (Corso A.Lucci - Library height)
- Naples S. Giovanni Barra: Gate FS
