Metro line 2 of Naples temporarily closed between Campi Flegrei and San Giovanni Barra on 21 and 22 March 2020. Here are the timetables of the shuttle buses.

As happened a couple of weeks ago, the Metro line 2 of Naples will be closed on 21 and 22 March 2020 in the stretch between Naples Campi Flegrei and San Giovanni Barra.

This closure is necessary to allow the jobs of infrastructure maintenance in the section of Piazza Amedeo.

During these works the works are being completed changes to pedestrian walkways to make overpasses more efficient and functional.

To reduce the inconvenience of passengers, some have also been introduced bus shuttles.

Changes to the movement of trains

  • Trains to / from Salerno - Castellammare di Stabia - Torre Annunziata Centrale start / end of the journey to Naples S. Giovanni Barra;
  •  Trains to / from Pozzuoli start and end the journey to Naples Campi Flegrei;
  • Trains to / from Caserta-Napoli Campi Flegrei originate / end of the journey to Napoli Centrale.

Support bus shuttles

The shuttle has one frequency of 15 minutes and it leaves from the Napoli Centrale station in the external square of the ANM bus terminal, to arrive at Napoli San Giovanni Barra at the FS gateway.

Even society Eav offers two buses in support of citizens.

Times:

  • between 7.00 and 17.30 on Saturdays
  • between 8.30 and 18.30 on Sunday

Routes on the Piazza Garibaldi - Piazzale Tecchio section:

  • gone to Piazza Garibaldi, Corso Garibaldi, Via Marina, Piazza Municipio, Via Acton, Via Riviera di Chiaia, Mergellina, gallery, Viale Augusto, Piazzale Tecchio;
  • return piazzale Tecchio - via Giulio Cesare - gallery - piazza Sannazzaro - Riviera di Chiaia - via Acton - via Marina - corso Garibaldi - piazza Principe Umberto - piazza Garibaldi.
