Metro line 6 in Naples, the Government funds arrive: also financed projects in Campania

Thanks to the funds allocated by the Government, the works on the 6 metro line in Naples can also be completed.

From the Italian Government they arrive new funds destined to transport Naples and other areas of Campania, through the decree signed by the Minister of Infrastructures Graziano Delrio. In fact, the 2 2018 1,4 have been allocated 665 billion euros of ministerial investment fund that are added to the XNUMX already authorized by the CIPE previously and of these sums about 610 millions will arrive in Campania.

For the city of Naples will be used 268 millions of euros to continue and finish the work on the 6 Metro Line, in particular to finish the first section of the Exhibition-Arsenal (Town Hall). In addition, other 1,5 millions are added to the existing 13s to enlarge the Workshop deposit of Piscinola, which is part of the Metro 1 Line.

Thanks to these funds, in the 2019 the first section of the 6 Line should be operating, from Mostra to Municipio with intermediate stops Arco Mirelli, San Pasquale and Chiaia-Monte di Dio.

As for the funds allocated to the rest of the region, about 100 million go to Salerno to complete the Arechi-Aeroporto metro line, while 66 million will go to Pompeii.
