The Montanara Day is back with the second appointment at the Mensa Occupata in via Mezzocannone!
Il Montanara Day arrives at his second annual appointment and will be held Wednesday 12 October 2016 to the Mensa Occupata of via Mezzocannone.
The event is part of the project Wednesday of the Magnata which provides self-financed lunches based on mountain folk, the proceeds of which will be used to finance some projects, including after-school programs, for young people in the center. Anyone who wants it can to have lunch with a musical accompaniment paying a modest sum.
The organizers in the Montanara Day manifesto wanted to address the initiative to those young people who can not find work, who do not have a decent home, a school, a place to play or entertain themselves, to those kids who are exploited for a few bucks or engage in illegal activities because they see no other future in this society.
The organizers have thus decided to give their contribution by organizing such events to give new life and new objectives to the spaces of the historic center to search, with the help of willing people. An excellent initiative that must be cultivated day after day.

There are four types of mountain range:
- the first is one moussaka with cream of potatoes, sauce with three types of meat (pork, chicken and veal), oregano and aubergines and with a veil of béchamel on top
- the second is to the lardiata with patanegra lard accompanied by cherry tomatoes and pecorino romano
- the third is vegetarian with cream of broccoli, caramelized onions and provola
- the fourth is with ragout, provola and cheese
