De Feis Etruscan Archaeological Museum in Naples

The museum

Il De Feis museum, inaugurated in February 2015, is the first Etruscan Archaeological Museum in Naples and is located inside theDenza Institute. This opening was the result of the collaboration between the Superintendence for Cultural Heritage and Activities of the Tuscany Region and the Provincial Father of the Barnabites of Naples, Pasquale Riillo.

The Museum exhibits over 800 finds relating to the collection of Father Barnabita Leopoldo De Feis, who established the first educational museum of the Collegio Fiorentino "Alle Querce", whose materials were closed at the Barbanita pole of Villa San Paolo in Florence and, only later, in Naples .

The exhibits exhibited here cover a chronological interval that stands out between the Bronze Age and the Imperial Era of Severiana and which are related to theancient Etruscan center of Campania of Caudium.
