Special evening openings are scheduled for the summer 2020 at the National Railway Museum of Pietrarsa in Naples!
Il National Railway Museum of Pietrarsa in Naples for summer 2020 it offers all citizens the opportunity to visit the Museum even in the evening with special evening openings.
In fact, starting from Friday 19 June 2020 and for the following ones weekend and therefore on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, the Railway Museum of Pietrarsa will extend the visiting hours up to hours 23:00.
However, the initiative will be suspended in the period from 10 to 27 August 2020.
The National Railway Museum of Pietrarsa
The National Railway Museum of Pietrarsa is an evocative museum located between Naples and Portici. Inside it is made up of well 7 pavilions covering an area of 36.000 square meters.
They will be admired steam locomotives including the famous group 290, group 835, group 480 and then three-phase electric locomotives, direct current locomotives, diesel locomotives, electromotive, self-propelled and passenger carriages.
An entire pavilion will be dedicated to models and common objects in railways, in another pavilion you will find old machines from the former workshop but also diesel and electric railcars, carriages and electric locomotives with direct current.
