Animals at the museum

Great news for four-legged friends: the San Gennaro Treasure Museum in Naples is the first to introduce entry for animals!

Who said art is only for people? To the Museum of the Treasure of San Gennaro, in Napleseven dogs and cats can now become a culture. From November 4, 2017 in fact, the entrance for the animals is inaugurated, which will make the museum the first to accept four-legged friends in the Neapolitan city.

To the big news is added another: not only the animals can enter the rooms with their human companions, but they will have available a special refreshment area with innovative foods. Everyone can, therefore, admire the collections of the museum in the company of his furry friend.

No transporters are required nor cages, but only the leash for dogs: it is trusted in the common sense of the owners, who will know how to manage their own animals. Furthermore, there will be no need to pay no extra ticket. Opening up to animals is a major exception in the museum panorama.

In Italy and in Europe there are still very few cultural spaces that accept dogs and cats. The Museum of the Treasure of San Gennaro wants to do so a gesture of civilization, welcoming those who are often in theaters true members of the family.
