50 photographs to show unusual places and details of the city of Naples, with a great symbolic and esoteric charm

Napoli is a maze of streets and paths that converge in squares and places with artistic and cultural charm where every detail, from any angle, has a symbolic meaning that has to do with religion but also with theesotericism.

The photographer Mario Zifarelli “caught” different aspects of the city of Naples and immortalized them in 50 beautiful black and white photographs that have the power to enchant the viewer and to surprise him, even if the observer considers himself accustomed to looking at his own city every day. Naples Unveiled, the photographic exhibition to be held until 4 November in the Hall of the terraces of Castel dell'Ovo, in fact, has the goal of reveal a different and unusual Naples to show unpublished points of view not only beautiful to see but full of meaning.

For example, the Neapolitans themselves do not know what is the real meaning of the ashlar of the Church of the Gesù Nuovo, or that in San Gregorio Armeno the remains of the temple of Ceres, immortalized in Zifarelli's shots, as well as the skulls inside the Church of Santa Maria delle Anime of Purgatory in Arco or the splendid as it is mysterious Christ Veiled in the Chapel of Sansevero.

Naples between sacredness and esotericism, which through these images conveys the desire to deepen the knowledge of some places, to delve into the intricate paths that form a single symbolic map that connects the city center to the Phlegraean area.
