An appointment not to be missed with A Night at the Museum of San Gennaro: a special theatrical visit is scheduled to discover the history of the cult of the Saint!

Saturday September 19 2020, on the occasion of the celebration of the Patron Saint of Naples, there will be a special appointment with the theatrical guided tour One night at the San Gennaro Museum, organized by the cultural association NarteA. To participate in the event the reservation is mandatory.

The event will take you on a special journey over a period of approx seven hundred years where you will be able to know many curiosities about the origin of biggest treasure in the world after that of the English Crown, through testimonies and legends.

You can in fact observe the various precious jewels such as the jeweled miter of the goldsmith Matteo Treglia which is composed of 3694 precious stones, the beautiful gold and silver necklace, made by Michele Dato in 1679 and enriched with various precious stones until 1879 and then again all the precious gifts that Napoleon, Pope Pius IX, King Umberto I and Margherita of Savoy have Donato to the saint.

Guests will also know Eusebia Januario, played by Daniela Ioia, relative of the Saint who will tell the story of precious ampoules and then again Giuseppe Navarra said the king of Poggioreale who recovered and brought back the treasure stored in the Vatican to Naples.

At the end of the event there is also one tasting of excellent wines from Campania.
