Gas station strike in Campania: petrol stations closed on the highway from 12 to 14 May 2020!
It was communicated by Fegica Cisl and Figisc-Anisa Confcommercio, the strike in Campania (but will also take place in the rest of Italy) of 48 hours which will involve gas stations. In fact, all petrol stations in the motorway service areas will be closed from hours 22:00 on Tuesday 12 until 22:00 on Thursday 14 May 2020.
Gas station strike: the reasons
One category among the few, that of petrol stations, which has continued to work, with the same times and with the same costs in this period of profound crisis due to the health emergency caused by the Coronavirus, thus ensuring the service but with a dramatically dropped fuel sale, with about 92% less.
These seem to be precisely the causes of the imminent strike that will involve gas stations, a category that had already made its voice heard at the beginning of the crisis period and which now, given the dramatic situation, is asking the Government access to the redundancy fund, non-repayable loans, bonus for rents and bills.
