In Pozzuoli at the Art Garage there will be the exhibition "For grace received - the souls pezzentelle" by Giancarlo de Luca, between cults and tradition.
At the Art Garage of Pozzuoli day 9 November 2019 from 17: 00 will be presented on photographic exhibition di Giancarlo De Luca by Title "By grace received - the souls pezzentelle".
This appointment will open the Art in Garage photo exhibition, of which he is artistic director Gianni Biccari, and will therefore lead the way for a series of upcoming events.
La exhibition of De Luca, also taken care of by Francesca Paola Cilento, is focused on the story of a Napoli linked to traditions and the cult of the Souls of Purgatory.
In the Neapolitan area there are many places where you can meet representations of this cult: al cemetery of the Fontanelle, St. Peter's Basilica at Aram, church of Santa Luciella ai Librai, Catacombs of San Gaudioso etc.
It is therefore an opportunity for a real one travel in the overseas world which is punctuated by the presence of the images proposed by the photographer.
Will also participate in the exhibition the anthropologist Aldo Colucciello who will discuss the aspects concerning the proposed theme and the bond that exists between the world of the living and the pezzentelle soulsthat I am forgotten souls.
It will also be distributed to participants free of charge, a catalog edited and designed by Francesca Paola Cilento.
