Pink Night 2020 in Naples with a special evening dedicated entirely to women: for the occasion the Maschio Angioino is tinged with pink!
In compliance with the decree against the Coronavirus emergency, the events of the Marzo Donna review are suspended until April 3, therefore also Pink Night.
On the occasion of International Women's Rights Day which occurs on 8 March, the councilor for culture and tourism of the municipality of Naples Eleonora de Majo organizes Pink Night.
It is a program of cultural initiatives that will be divided into different places in the city and for the occasion the Maschio Angioino from Naples will be dyed by pink giving us a truly suggestive scenario.
Pink night 2020
The events will start from Saturday tonight 7 March at 18:00 at the Real Casa Santa dell'Annunziata, a symbol of welcome for all women who in the past were poor or without a family. The other events will be held from Piazza Forcella to Via dei Carrozzieri in Monteoliveto and each participant will receive a map of all the initiatives scheduled.
At Cloister of San Domenico Maggiore instead, a completely female free concert will be held. Then there will be the exhibition of works of various arts, created by the ARTE-FATTA laboratory, showing in particular the thousand facets of being a woman.
Will be presented on mini-documentary by Viviana Rasulo, Angela Colonna, Stefania Raimondi and Donatella Donatelli to discover the female world.
From 17:30 am to 19:30 pm at Archaeological Museum of Naples, the project of observation of female statues and a reflection on the representation of women in ancient art will be presented.
