Antonio Rezza will be staged at the Bellini Theater in Naples with the show "7-14-21-28", a paradoxical story about modern civilization

The multifaceted artist Antonio Rezza returns to perform on stage at the Teatro Bellini in Naples with the show 7-14-21-28, as usual made with the artist and director Flavia Mastrella.

It is a non-new show, brought on stage by Rezza already several years ago, but always effective for its relevance and that will be staged from the 12 to the 16 February 2014.

Paradoxical as always, and precisely for this metaphor of the real that surrounds us, the piéce does not tell a linear story with a very precise plot, but outlines some characters and situations with the aim of exploring the traits of our humanity.

The absolute protagonist of the scene is always Antonio Rezza, a true stage animal that with the innumerable movements of its body manages to tell individual stories and absurd events. The surrounding environment, on the other hand, was created by the ever creative Flavia Mastrella.

We will therefore find ourselves observing one habitat which, from the beginning of history, welcomes a swing and red drapes, but also many other objects such as twines, wedding veils, ropes or nets.
However, numbers will dominate, as the title suggests, and through them Rezza and Mastrella will tell us about the decline of modern civilization in "a country in disarray".

In fact, as the two authors point out, we will have "Numerical civilizations compared. The definitive defeat of meaning. Malesseri in double figures that multiply until they start: we are just a few jumps away from the subtraction that makes us disappear. Oscillations and hesitations in a mobile ideogram. "

A sensory experience, therefore, in which the characters interpreted by Rezza will seek their identity through situations often comic, as the artist has accustomed us for many years, but who will try to make us understand the absurdity of contemporary civilization.
