The Royal Palace of Caserta does not close: gardens and royal apartments will remain open to the public to offer an oasis of peace and serenity in such a delicate moment for Italy

In full compliance with the Decree of 4 March 2020, the entrances to the Royal Palace and Gardens they will be carefully regulated so as not to create gatherings of people.

huge indoor and outdoor spaces of the Reggia del Vanvitelli, however, will still allow a very high number of visitors to enjoy the architectural and artistic beauties of the Royal Palace in complete safety.

A message of hope from the Royal Palace of Caserta

With its one hundred and twenty hectares of parkland and its large internal rooms, the Royal Palace of Caserta can be considered in all respects a safe haven for the citizens of Campania even in the very harsh Coronavirus period.

Hence the decision of do not close the site despite the recent restrictions imposed by the government to protect the health of Italians: there are not many Italian museums and parks, in fact, where it is possible with such ease respect the interpersonal safety distance of at least one meter.

Furthermore, it is the Council of Ministers itself that invited the Italians to carry out mostly outdoor activities, thus minimizing the risk of contagion for adults and children.

The Royal Palace will remain open according to the usual timetable, from Monday to Sunday From 8:30 to 19:30, with weekly closing il Tuesday.
