Coronavirus in Campania: the President of the Region, Vincenzo De Luca is oriented towards the reopening of elementary schools.
The president of the Campania Region, Vincenzo De Luca, a few days ago had issued a new ordinance with which it was decided the closure of schools due to the high number of positives al Coronavirus which has occurred in the past few weeks.
Reopening of elementary schools in Campania
As reported in the new ordinance, from Monday 26 October 2020 could reopen the elementary schools in Campania, based on the trend of infections.
From what we read:
Without prejudice to any further determination as a consequence of the trend of the epidemiological situation detected daily, with effect from 21 October and until 30 October 2020, the suspension of teaching activities in presence for primary and secondary schools is confirmed, except for the performance of the activities intended pupils with disabilities or with autism spectrum disorders, whose performance in the presence is allowed, subject to the evaluation of the specific context conditions by the school.
2. The Regional Crisis Unit is mandated to constantly monitor and evaluate the situation of contagions that have developed in the area in the school environment and related cases connected to "close contacts", for the purpose of the possible reopening of the activity in the presence of the primary school starting from 26 October 2020.
The reopening of elementary schools must in any case take place in compliance with anti-Covid rules 19 and the managers will have to contact the ASL of competence for guarantee safety conditions.
