The San Carlo Theater in Naples offers outdoor shows in Piazza Plebiscito: three extraordinary shows are scheduled!
even the San Carlo Theater of Naples, after the forced closure due to the health emergency, it starts again with the staging of 3 extraordinary shows, this time outdoors in the beautiful Piazza Plebiscito.
In fact, a stage will be set up for the occasion 1500 meters created specifically for the event in compliance with all the rules imposed to stem the spread of Coronavirus.
The first appointment will be on July 19th at 21pm, followed by Saturday 25 July at 20:15 with the Apert Trials eventand, with two exclusive evenings dedicated to doctors and nurses personally engaged in the fight against Coronavirus. Well 1000 free places for healthcare professionals who will be able to attend the rehearsals of Tosca by Giacomo Puccini and Aida by Giuseppe Verdi.
Giacomo Puccini's Tosca
Il 23 and 26 July 2020 at 20:15 Giacomo Puccini's La Tosca will be staged in concert form, the protagonist of which will be the soprano Anna Netrebko for the first time in Naples, and with Yusif Eyvazov who will play Mario Cavaradossi and Ludovic Tézier in the role of Baron Scarpia. The musical director will conduct the Orchestra of the Teatro di San Carlo Juraj Valchuha.

Giuseppe Verdi's Aida
On 28 and 31 July 2020 they will perform in the beautiful Piazza Plebiscito in Naples Anna Pirozzi in the role of Aida, Jonas Kaufmann in that of Radamès and Anita Rachvelishvili in the role of Amneris, inGiuseppe Verdi's Aida. The Maestro Michele Mariott will conduct the Orchestra and Chorus of the San Carlo Theater.

July 30, 2020 at 20 pm the Ninth symphony by Beethoven with the soprano Maria Agresta, the mezzo-soprano Daniela Barcellona, the tenor Antonio Poli and the bass Roberto Tagliavini. He will conduct the Orchestra and Chorus of the San Carlo Juraj Valčuha Theater.
