The local
Hidden among the palaces and the bars of Piazza Bellini, entering an ancient palace, you will find this vegetarian / vegan restaurant. From over 20 years in this meeting we eat, follow courses and you can buy many organic products, zero kilometers or even suitable for the vegan diet.
In a very central place, it is easily reachable with the underground line 1 stop “Dante”.
Structured on two floors you sit down in wooden tables very close and it is possible that you will share the table with someone else.
The menu
The menu is divided into two large parts: there is the menu of the day and the seasonal dishes. It is really very rich and even the most carnivorous person will not miss it, at least for an evening or a lunch, for the richness of flavors and good food.
There are appetizers, first courses that vary seasonally and second courses with tofu or seitan or simply with vegetables and desserts. Worthy of note is the fruit salad, very abundant and with fresh fruit. Try it with cinnamon on it!
The menu is also excellent for people with celiac disease or other types of food intolerances.
The order
Within the menu of the day there is a dish that costs 9 euros which contains: a soup and 5 side dishes. We tried this and were really thrilled! Not only was it a nutritionally complete meal but it was also delicious with the vegetables cooked with different spices and the very tasty legume soup. As we are very greedy, we also tried the fruit salad with cinnamon, which turned out to be the ideal end of a light, balanced and satisfying meal.
