Appointment with Spaccanapoli 2018: the 21,097 km marathon that crosses the alleys of the historic center and the Naples seafront!
Sunday November 11, 2018 the appointment with Spaccanapoli is renewed, marathon more waiting than ever that crosses the alleys in the heart of the city and the waterfront of Naples.
Now in its 36th edition, the event, made possible by Uisp Naples with Sports Events Run and with the patronage of the Municipality of Naples and Coni Campania, it will allow all running and sports enthusiasts to be part of a fantastic experience with an exciting path in the most beautiful places in the city.
The marathon will take place with two modesIn fact, the program includes both a competitive race of 21,09 km and 10 km and a non-competitive 10 km for all those who want to participate.
Path of the 2018 Spaccanapoli marathon
The appointment is scheduled for Sunday 11 November 2018 at 8:30 in Piazza Municipio, where the hospitality village will be set up for athletes, authorities and services. From here the athletes will cross the most beautiful places in the historic center of Naples, here are the main stages:
- Via Medina
- Via SanFelice
- Piazza Bovio
- Corso Umberto I
- Via Duomo
- San Biagio dei Librai
- Piazza San Domenico Maggiore
- Piazza Gesù Nuovo
- Via Monteoliveto and from here again towards Piazza Municipio
From here the athletes will continue towards Piazza Plebiscito until they reach Fuorigrotta and Viale dei Giochi del Mediterraneo where the refreshment point and turning point. The marathon will continue until the arrival, scheduled on the Naples waterfront. To participate in the marathon 2018 Spaccanapoli must register online or the 10 November at Piazza Municipio from 10: 00 at 19: 00.
