A fantastic appointment is renewed with the Sponz Fest, the festival conceived by Vinicio Capossela and dedicated to the theme of water!
Will take place from 25 to 30 August 2020 a new edition of the Sponz Fest, the festival conceived and directed by the great artist Vinicio Capossela, between music, art, excursions, workshops and performances.
The Festival will take place in Calitri but not only that, it will also affect Caposele and Torella dei Lombardi in the province of Avellino, then again Paestum, Eboli, Serre, Valva and Contursi Terme in the province of Salerno.
The theme of this new edition of the festival will be the water, as the title suggests Sponz water, intended as element of purification, regeneration and rebirth. To participate in the events it will be necessary to register on the official website of the event and then make the reservation (link in the final mirror).
It will also be possible to follow the Festival from a distance thanks to the streaming of the event on the platform made available by Scabec, the Campana Beni Culturali Society.
The rules to be respected to participate in the event
All events will take place in full compliance with the anti-Covid standards 19, in fact, all the areas were created respecting the rules of social distancing with one maximum capacity of 200 people.
Here are the standards provided:
- To access the events it will be mandatory to make an online reservation on the official website and show the entrance ticket
- All seats will be numbered
- Body temperature will be checked for access to the meeting-show areas
- The entrance to each area will be characterized by personal sanitation tools
- Mandatory use of the mask
- Area security system with qualified personnel
- Continuous sanitation of public toilets
- Administration of food and beverages in compliance with HCCP regulations and Covid-19 regulations

- Lunch time: Loc. Sorgenti Ofanto. Alfonso Nannariello-Readings from the book Ofanto from the hypeti of vortices and crests. Peppe Leone in Roar of drums, Invocation from the mouth
- Late afternoon-Castello di Torella: Enza Perna in “Mefite and other treatments” sound adaptations by Giovannangelo De Gennaro. Following Father Giuseppe Gaffurini - former Cistercian monk - Water, swamp and monastic territory
- Evening-Piazza delle Fontane: Once upon a time in America, Meeting with the author Piero Negri. Vinicio Capossela spoke. Video link with Vincenzo Mollica “Sergio Leone and the Roaring Twenties”. Followed by Dr. Jazz & Dirty Bucks Swing Band (Dixieland).
