A fantastic appointment at the Maschio Angioino in Naples with the Exhibition Spiritus Mundi by Hermann Josef Runggaldier and Mario Ciaramella!

Da Tuesday 2 June to Wednesday 22 July 2020 the Maschio Angioino of Naples will welcome in the suggestive Palatine Chapel the exhibition Spiritus Mundi di Hermann Josef Runggaldier and Mario Ciaramella.

Designed by Andrea Aragosa for Black Tarantella and thanks to the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Municipality of Naples, guests can visit the suggestive exhibition to the Maschio Angioino free from Monday to Saturday from 10:00 to 17:00, respecting all rules imposed for a visit in maximum safety.

The exhibition

The exhibition welcomes more than 50 sculptures of various sizes in relief of the two artists Hermann Josef Runggaldier and Mario Ciaramella.

The choice to exhibit works by these two artists together it's not random but it resides in the thought and in the characteristics that unite them. In fact, both have chosen not to leave Italy but to live and work in their place of origin. Ortisei and Luzzano are in fact two very small towns, which are located in two different areas of Italy but which present themselves many elements in common.

Mario Ciaramella chooses to use materials such asclay wood and stone and each of these suggestive works tells a different side of the relationship between man and nature. Hermann Josef Runggaldier instead shows the man with an archaic body, powerful and strong. An exciting exhibition that will allow you to get to know extraordinary places in our area and above all the works of these great artists.
