The show, which has now become a regular Christmas holiday, will be on stage from the 29 December 2018 to the 5 January 2019 and will transport the spectators once again in the enchanting fairy tale inspired by the story The Nutcracker and the king of mice by Ernst Theodor Amadeus Hoffmann, written in 1816.

The ballet The Nutcracker it was then composed of Pëtr Il'ič Čajkovskij between the 1891 and the 1892 on the indications of the booklet of Marius Petipa and represented for the first time at the Mariinsky Theater in St. Petersburg the 18 December 1892. Its evocative music is, even today, the background of Christmas parties and, together with the plot of the story, magically brings us back to the dimension of our childhood.

For this version of the ballet The Nutcracker, the Neapolitan choreographer Giuseppe Picone has included some news to further immerse the public in a magical and fairytale dimension. On stage there will be "A new Christmas tree, a cloud that makes the Nutcracker fly in the world of the Fata Confetto and scenic panels for the dances of character".
