ANM has announced the 2017 summer timetable for the 1 metro line, funiculars and buses in Naples with changes in schedules and frequencies.
Update: the Funicular of Mergellina will reopen in September 2017 , underground line 1 will return to the ordinary timetable in the same month.

From Sunday 2 July to Sunday 10 September 2017 i will take effect summer hours of the ANM company in Naples for the subway line 1, funiculars and the buses.
Relatively to metro and bus, they are planned different time phases in which the frequencies of the races will vary.
Moreover, some lines will be upgraded or weakened, while for the funiculars there will be no substantial changes, if not in the frequency.
Here is the detailed program of the various means of transport, with all the details on the substitute bus lines to meet the needs of travelers.
ANM summer hours
Subway 1 line
From the 2 to the 29 July and from the 28 August to the 10 September 2017
In this first phase the frequency of the races of the metro line 1 will be of 10 minutes at peak times, ie from 6.00 to 14.00 and from 18.00 to 21.00., while from 14.00 to 18.00 will be 12 minutes.
- times of the first and last races they remain unchanged:
- from Piscinola: first run hours 06: 00; last run 22 hours: 29
- from Garibaldi: first run hours 06: 20; last run 23 hours: 02

30 from July to August 27 2017
In this second phase the trains will be in service according to the "single time slot" from 6.00 to 23.02 and frequency of races will be 14 minutes, every day, both weekdays and holidays.
Here are the times:
- from Piscinola: first run hours 06: 00; last run 22 hours: 22
- from Garibaldi: first run hours 06: 20; last run 23 hours: 02
25 from June to September 10 2017
Le second exits of the Rione Alto, Montedonzelli and Montecalvario stations will be closed to the public.
Night extensions
From the 23 June to the 31 July, the Friday night extensions of the 1 metro line will be suspended. Instead, for the entire month of August, the Saturday extension will also be suspended.
Funicular of Chiaia and Montesanto
From the 17 July
The two funiculars will operate according to the new timetable from 7.00 to 22.00. From the beginning of July, however, the speech of the suspended night extensions until August, on the same terms as the 1 metro line.
Funicular of Mergellina
The Mergellina Funicular suspends the service from the 17 July 2017.
Central Funicular
The Central Funicular will reopen 2017 by July and the suspensions of the night extension and the summer timetable of the other two Funiculars will be valid.
Bus
From the 2 31 July
Will enhanced C63-R4-140-C31-168-ALIBUS and 151 lines to facilitate the movement of the numerous people who head to the sea areas.
Will replace 20 urban lines a minor question with 5 lines that will cover wider sections and useful for interchange with other transport categories. For all other lines there will be a reduction in frequency or daily operating hours.
From the 1 ° July to the 3 September
The will be active bus 622 which will circulate in the ZTL Marechiaro. There will also be the possibility of buy the ticket on board, at increased price.
Bus
From 1 July 2017 there will be the first phase of the summer timetable with changes to the service on various lines. Here are the planned suspensions and replacement lines.
Bus for seaside and turistic locations
Buses C31 – C63 – 140 – 151 – 168 – R4 – ALIBUS will be strengthened.
Line 622
It will be active from the 08: 30 to the 19: 00 in the ZTL of Marechiaro. You can buy the ticket on board at a higher price.
Suspended lines
C13 and 132 (replaced by 532) - C24 and C27 (replaced by 627) - C25 - C51 - C62 - C66 - C78 (replaced by 678) - C94 - C96 -173 - 176 - 190 - 193 - 615 - E6 - R7 and 507 (replaced by 607).
Saturday and holidays: the only active lines
