Theater

Il Roman theater of Neapolis, dating back to the first century. BC, is located in the heart of the Old Town and is literally incorporated into modern buildings. It is mentioned in several sources as one of the glories of Neapolis from the moment in which it was represented, among others, the comedies in honor of Germanicus, brother of the emperor Claudius, or the certami song of Nero.

Access to the theater is allowed through a trapdoor located under the bed of a house.
The visit to the theater is the last stage of the journey related to the Underground Naples.
